Kellie martin is an American film, television and stage performer. Her most famous roles include Christy Huddleston (Christy) on the drama of the same name Christy", Rebecca Thatcher (Life Goes On) in Life Goes On; and Lucy Knight ("ER") in the medical drama ER". Kellie Martin is most well-known for her part as the protagonist on The Hailey Dean Mystery Series. Martin began her acting career when she was seven. She was a niece of her aunt who worked as the nanny of actor Michael Landon's children, was a big help in landing her one small part on the television series Father Murphy. After graduating of Yale University, she took acting more seriously and landed substantial roles, both on the small and the large screen. Martin is, in addition to being an actor, is also a skilled photographer and ballet dancer. Two-time mother, Martin is the spokesperson for the nation for Lupus and has been informing people about the illness following the death of her sister of it in the age of 19.
